C.R.S. § 25.5-6-1902: Community first choice option - covered services - state plan amendment.

(1) No later than July 1, 2025, the state department shall seek federal authorization through an amendment to the state medical assistance plan to implement the community first choice option.

(2) At a minimum, the state plan amendment must provide for, but is not limited to:

(a) The following services:

(I) Personal care services;

(II) Homemaker services;

(III) Health maintenance activities;

(IV) Electronic monitoring services; and

(V) Voluntary training on how to select, manage, and dismiss an attendant; and

(b) The delivery of covered services, if applicable, through:

(I) In-home support services;

(II) Consumer-directed services and supports; and

(III) Licensed home care services.
