C.R.S. § 37-80-101: State engineer.

Pursuant to section 13 of article XII of the state constitution, the governor shall appoint a state engineer. The office of the state engineer must be located within the state capitol complex. The state engineer shall be provided the resources, including an operating budget, necessary to discharge the duties of the office.
