C.R.S. § 38-25-106: Lien not valid until notice filed.

Prior to the time of the filing of a notice of lien in the office of the secretary of state or the county clerk and recorder, as the case may be, the lien shall not be valid as against any mortgagee, purchaser, or judgment creditor.
