C.R.S. § 42-2-508: Fees - operations - rule.

(1) The department may promulgate a rule imposing an additional fee for issuance of a document issued under this part 5 to cover the direct and indirect cost of implementing this part 5. The department shall set the fee in accordance with section 42-2-114.5 (2). The department shall transfer the fees to the state treasurer, who shall credit the fees to the Colorado DRIVES vehicle services account created in section 42-1-211 (2).

(2) (a) Repealed.

(b) By July 1, 2020, the department shall issue identification documents under this part 5 in an efficient manner at ten or more offices, including offices operating before July 1, 2020, that are geographically distributed throughout the state.
