Conn. Gen. Stat. § 16-19iii: Reports re advanced conductors and grid-enhancing technology.

In any base rate or capital improvement proceeding before the Public Utilities Regulatory Authority, an electric distribution company shall submit a report to the authority that analyzes the cost-effectiveness of, and projected timetables for, deploying grid-enhancing technologies, advanced conductors, energy storage or other non-wire alternatives relevant to such company's operations or capital investments. Such report may include, but need not be limited to, proposed performance incentive mechanisms for the cost-effective deployment of such technologies, conductors or storage. The authority may approve the deployment of such technologies, conductors or storage, with or without performance incentive mechanisms, if the authority deems such technologies, conductors or storage are cost effective.
