Conn. Gen. Stat. § 22-359f: Quarantine of animal attacked and potentially exposed to rabies. Length of quarantine.

The owner or keeper of any animal that was attacked and that may have been exposed to rabies as a result of such attack shall quarantine the animal for a minimum of four months. The owner or keeper of the animal shall have such animal vaccinated against rabies as soon as medically appropriate. Such quarantine shall be provided as directed by a licensed veterinarian in this state or the State Veterinarian.
