Each insurer that delivers, issues for delivery or renews in this state a homeowners or renters insurance policy for a residential dwelling shall provide to the insured a notice prescribed or approved by the Insurance Commissioner that explains clearly, conspicuously and in plain language that: (1) Such policy does not provide coverage for loss caused by flood, and (2) insurance is available under separate flood policies, including information regarding flood insurance eligibility and access.
