Conn. Gen. Stat. § 46b-612: Standards of professional responsibility and mandatory reporting not affected.

The provisions of sections 46b-600 to 46b-621, inclusive, do not affect the: (1) Professional responsibility obligations and standards applicable to a lawyer or other licensed professional; or (2) obligation of a person to report abuse or neglect, abandonment or exploitation of a child or adult under the law of this state.
