The number of state marshals to be appointed for Hartford County shall not exceed sixty-two; for New Haven County, fifty-five; for New London County, twenty; for Fairfield County, fifty-five; for Windham County, seven; for Litchfield County, thirteen; for Middlesex County, thirteen; for Tolland County, ten.
