D.C. Code § 1-611.10: Compensation — Members of the State Board of Education.

(a)

Notwithstanding any other provision of law, each member of the State Board of Education ("SBOE") shall, in 2024, receive an annual salary of $20,000; except, the President of the SBOE shall, in 2024, receive an annual salary of $21,000. In each subsequent year, the annual salary of each member and the President of the SBOE shall be increased by a percentage equal to the percentage by which the Consumer Price Index for All Urban Consumers for the Washington-Arlington-Alexandria, DC-MD-VA-WV Metropolitan Statistical Area (or such successor metropolitan statistical area that includes the District) increased in the prior calendar year.

(b)

The salaries of the members and President of the SBOE shall not be subject to step increases or any other increase not provided for by this section.
