D.C. Code § 2-1227.04: Approval of disposition of Walter Reed Redevelopment Site.

Notwithstanding

subchapter I of Chapter 8 of Title 10, the Mayor is authorized to dispose of:

(1)

The Walter Reed Redevelopment Site pursuant to the terms of the Term Sheet by ground lease for a term of less than 30 years to Developer;

(2)

Portions of the Walter Reed Redevelopment Site by ground lease to the selected public benefit providers and homeless assistance providers;

(3)

Portions of the Walter Reed Redevelopment Site in fee simple to Component Developers, the Walter Reed Common Area Association, and the selected homeless assistance providers; and

(4)

Portions of the Walter Reed Redevelopment Site by easement to utility providers to the extent necessary for the development of the Horizontal Development and Vertical Development.
