D.C. Code § 2-1517.01: Definitions.

For the purposes of this part, the term:

(1)

“Behavioral health” means a person’s overall social, emotional, and psychological well-being and development.

(2)

“Youth” means individuals under 18 years of age residing in the District and those individuals classified as youth in the custody of the Department of Youth Rehabilitation Services and the Child and Family Services Agency who are 21 years of age or younger.
