D.C. Code § 2-1555.02: Office of Out of School Time Grants and Youth Outcomes; establishment.

(a)

Pursuant to § 1-204.04(b), the Council establishes an Office of Out of School Time Grants and Youth Outcomes, subordinate to the Mayor.

(b)

The mission of the Office is to improve the educational, social-emotional, and physical health outcomes of youth through participation in out-of-school-time programs.

(c)

The Office shall be headed by a director, who shall be appointed by, and serve at the pleasure of, the Mayor.
