Subchapter I. General.

(a)

The Mayor shall be responsible for developing and maintaining, in cooperation with other District of Columbia agencies and departments, programs for the prevention and treatment of alcoholism and the rehabilitation of alcoholics among District of Columbia employees consistent with the intent of this subchapter.

(b)

The Mayor shall also be responsible for fostering alcoholism rehabilitation programs in private industry in the District of Columbia.
