In addition to the functions authorized in § 3-1206.04, a certified registered nurse anesthetist may plan and deliver anesthesia, pain management, and related care to patients or clients of all health complexities across the lifespan. This practice incorporates the use of independent judgement as well as collaborative interaction with other health care professionals.
