D.C. Code § 42-1648: Status of receiver as lien creditor.

(a)
On appointment of a receiver, the receiver has the status of a lien creditor under:
(1)
Article 9 of Subtitle I of Title 28 as to receivership property that is personal property or fixtures; and
(2)
§ 42-401, as to receivership property that is real property.
