D.C. Code § 5-1103: Definitions.

*NOTE: Section 4(a) of D.C. Act 26-371 provided that the amendments made to this section by section 2(a) of D.C. Act 26-371 shall expire on the applicability date of section 105 of D.C. Law 24-345.*

For purposes of this subchapter, the term:

(1)

“Board” means the Police Complaints Board.

(2)

“Complaint examiner” means the person designated by the Executive Director to determine the merits of a complaint.

“Executive Director” means the head of the Office of Police Complaints.

(3A)

“Gender identity or expression” shall have the same meaning as provided in § 2-1401.02(12A).

"MPD" means the Metropolitan Police Department.

“Office” means the Office of Police Complaints.

(5)
