D.C. Code § 6-1405.05: Expedited Building Permit Review Program Fund.

(a)

There is established as a special fund the Expedited Building Permit Review Program Fund ("Fund"), which shall be administered by the Director of the Department in accordance with subsection (c) of this section.

(b)

Revenue from fees imposed by the Department for the expedited review of building permit applications shall be deposited in the Fund.

(c)

Money in the Fund shall be used to administer the expedited building permit review program at the Department. After all operational and administrative expenses of the expedited building permit review program are met, as certified by the Chief Financial Officer in the year-end close, the remaining balance shall revert to the General Fund.
