D.C. Code § 7-1671.08a: Medical Cannabis Administration Fund.

(a)

There is established as a special fund the Medical Cannabis Administration Fund ("Fund"), which shall be administered by ABCA in accordance with subsection (c) of this section.

(b)

All funds received from medical cannabis licensing, permitting, and registration fees shall be deposited into the Fund.

(c)

Money deposited in the Fund shall be used by ABCA for the purpose of administering the medical cannabis program.

(d)

Any money remaining available in the Fund at the end of a fiscal year, as determined by the Chief Financial Officer in the fiscal year-end close, shall be transferred to the unassigned fund balance of the General Fund of the District of Columbia as part of the fiscal year-end close.

(e)

Funds received from penalties and fines imposed under § 7-1671.08 shall be credited to the unassigned fund balance of the General Fund of the District of Columbia.
