D.C. Code § 7-231.07: Content of vital records and vital reports.

(a)

To promote and maintain nationwide uniformity in systems of vital statistics, the forms for a vital record or a required vital report shall include, at a minimum, the items recommended by the federal agency responsible for national vital statistics.

(b)

Information required in a report may be filed and registered by photographic, electronic, or other means as prescribed by the Registrar in rules issued pursuant to § 7-231.29.
