The Director may take any action necessary to address emergency response planning and operations related to rail systems in the District including:
(1)
Development of emergency response plans as may be required by the FTA for the DC Streetcar; and
(2)
Coordination and support in accordance with the District Response Plan drafted by the Homeland Security and Emergency Management Agency regarding the planning for and response to emergencies involving rail systems in the District.
