Fla. Stat. § 1012.801: Employees of the Board of Governors.

Employees of the Board of Governors who were participating in the State University Optional Retirement Program prior to June 30, 2002, shall be eligible to continue such participation as long as they remain employees of the Board of Governors or a state university without a break in continuous service.
