Fla. Stat. § 157.26: Repair and maintenance of drains under supervision of county commissioners.

All ditches, drains and canals heretofore or hereafter constructed in any county of the state under the provisions of this chapter, shall for the purpose of maintenance and repair be and remain under the supervision and control of the board of county commissioners of the county where located.
