Fla. Stat. § 27.05: Assisting Attorney General.

  1. CHAPTER 27 STATE ATTORNEYS; PUBLIC DEFENDERS; RELATED OFFICES

In addition to the duties now imposed upon the several state attorneys of this state, by statute, they shall assist the Attorney General in the preparation and presentation of all appeals to the Supreme Court, from the circuit court of their respective circuits, of all cases, civil or criminal, in which the state is a party.
