Fla. Stat. § 308.04: Acting as shipping master without license; penalties.

Whoever attempts to exercise the calling of a shipping master, or falsely represents himself or herself as a shipping master, in this state, not having been licensed or appointed by law, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor of the second degree, punishable as provided in s. 775.082 or s. 775.083.
