Fla. Stat. § 320.836: Presenting warranty claim.

The claim in writing, stating the substance of the warranty defect, may be presented to the manufacturer, dealer, or supplier. When the person notified is not the responsible party he or she shall inform the claimant and shall notify the responsible party of the warranty claim immediately.
