Fla. Stat. § 381.931: Annual report on Medicaid expenditures.

The Department of Health and the Agency for Health Care Administration shall monitor the total Medicaid expenditures for services made under this act. If Medicaid expenditures are projected to exceed the amount appropriated by the Legislature, the Department of Health shall limit the number of screenings to ensure Medicaid expenditures do not exceed the amount appropriated.
