  1. CHAPTER 39 PROCEEDINGS RELATING TO CHILDREN

The circuit court shall have exclusive original jurisdiction of a proceeding in which appointment of a guardian advocate is sought. The court shall retain jurisdiction over a child for whom a guardian advocate is appointed until specifically relinquished by court order.
