Fla. Stat. § 413.209: Workers’ compensation coverage for program participants.

- CHAPTER 413 EMPLOYMENT AND RELATED SERVICES FOR PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES
A participant in an adult or youth work experience activity administered under this part shall be deemed an employee of the state for purposes of workers’ compensation coverage.
