Fla. Stat. § 445.09: Bonuses for employees of county tax collectors or property appraisers.

Notwithstanding any other law, a county tax collector or property appraiser may budget for and pay a hiring or retention bonus to an employee if such expenditure is approved by the Department of Revenue in the respective budget of the county tax collector or property appraiser.
