Fla. Stat. § 501.0577: Commercial Weight-Loss Practices Act; exemptions.

The provisions of this act do not apply to persons licensed under chapter 458, chapter 459, chapter 460, chapter 461, chapter 462, chapter 463, chapter 465, or chapter 486 who may give weight-loss advice or provide any weight-loss service which is incidental to the performance of their profession and which is not the primary activity of the person’s practice.
