Fla. Stat. § 553.506: Powers of the commission.

In addition to any other authority vested in the Florida Building Commission by law, the commission, in implementing this part, may, by rule, adopt revised and updated versions of the Americans with Disabilities Act Standards for Accessible Design in accordance with chapter 120.
