  1. CHAPTER 601 FLORIDA CITRUS CODE

It is unlawful for any person to operate a citrus fruit packinghouse, canning plant, or concentrating plant, or to pack or otherwise prepare for sale or transportation any citrus fruit at such packinghouse, canning plant, or concentrating plant without having previously registered said packinghouse, canning plant, or concentrating plant and given the notice required in s. 601.40 and having received and still having unrevoked from the Department of Agriculture a certificate; provided, that no certificate of inspection and maturity of any fruit shall be issued by any authorized inspector except to a person who has registered with the Department of Agriculture during the then-current year and has an unrevoked certificate of registration and has given to said Department of Agriculture the notice required.
