Fla. Stat. § 628.041: Applicability of general corporation statutes.

The applicable statutes of this state relating to the powers and procedures of domestic private corporations formed for profit shall apply to domestic stock insurers and to domestic mutual insurers, except:

(1) As to any domestic mutual insurers incorporated pursuant to chapter 617, which chapter shall govern such insurers when in conflict with part I of chapter 607; and

(2) When in conflict with the express provisions of this code.
