The first Saturday in October of each year shall be known as Guam National Guard Day in recognition of the services rendered by members of the National Guard to the people of Guam. I Maga’håga/Maga’låhi is authorized and requested to issue a proclamation annually calling upon the people of Guam to observe Guam National Guard Day. I Maga’håga/Maga’låhi shall appoint a Guam National Guard Day Committee to plan and make appropriate arrangements for the celebration of this important day.
