1 GCA § 2403: Eligibility; Term of Service.

No person shall be eligible to serve as a member of the Kumision unless he or she shall be a citizen of the United States qualified to vote in Guam.

Members shall serve so long as they retain the positions they occupy or are members of the groups they represented when they were appointed. The term of any non-elected member appointed by I Maga’lahi or serving as a designee shall expire with the term of the appointing authority except that any non-elected member appointed by I Maga’lahi or serving as a designee who is not present at three (3) consecutive meetings, and whose absences are unexcused, shall no longer be eligible to serve, and the appointing or designating authority shall name a replacement. Vacancies in membership shall be filled in the same manner as the original appointment.
