10 GCA § 82A501: Continuance.

The court may, for good cause, order a continuance of up to forty-eight (48) hours or, if this period ends on a Saturday, Sunday or holiday, to the end of the next day on which the court is open. The continuance shall extend the emergency treatment/observation period or any temporary treatment order until the time of the hearing.
