15 GCA § 2319: Sales in General: Sales Under Direction of Will; Procedure.

When a testator's will directs the property of the estate to be sold, or when authority is given in a testator's will to sell the property of the estate, the executor or administrator with the will annexed may sell the same either at public auction or private sale, and with or without notice, as the executor or administrator with the will annexed may in his discretion determine; provided, that the executor or administrator with the will annexed shall make a return of sale and obtain confirmation thereof from the Superior Court as in other cases. No title to the property of an estate sold under the provisions of this Section passes until the sale is confirmed by the Superior Court of Guam; but the necessity of the sale, or its advantage or benefit to the estate or those interested therein, need not be shown. If directions are given in the will as to the mode of selling, or the particular property to be sold, the executor or administrator with the will annexed shall observe such directions.
