16 GCA § 7119: Registration: Display.

(a) Every owner upon receipt of a registration card shall write her/his signature thereon with pen and ink in the space provided and shall place and thereafter maintain the same or a facsimile copy thereof in the registered vehicle.

(b) The provisions of this Section shall not apply when a registration card is necessarily removed from the vehicle for which issued for the purpose of application and renewal thereof or a transfer of registration of the vehicle.
