17 GCA § 4105: Same: Conformity.

Textbooks and courses of study in the public schools shall conform to such minimum standards when adopted. All textbooks shall be adopted by the Board for a period of not less than three (3) years. After the first such adoption has been made, no more than one third (1/3rd) of the original list of textbooks shall be changed during anyone year.
