7 GCA § 50210: Sale of Perishable Property.

In all cases when it appears to the satisfaction of the court that the estate of the debtor, or any part thereof, is of a perishable nature, or is liable to deteriorate in value, or is disproportionately expensive to keep, and that the insolvent's estate will suffer if sufficient time elapses for the giving of notice, the court may order the same to be sold in such manner and at such time as may be deemed most expedient, under the direction of the commissioner, receiver, or assignee, as the case may be, who shall hold the funds received in place of the property sold until further order of the court.
