Haw. Rev. Stat. § 102-16: Penalty.

Any officer of the State or of any municipal, county, or other political subdivision thereof, or any person acting under or for such officer or any other person who violates any provisions of sections 102-1 to 102-12 shall be fined not more than $1,000 or imprisoned not more than one year, or both.
