Haw. Rev. Stat. § 431:2-105.5: Staff.

There are established within the insurance division of the department of commerce and consumer affairs six positions for technical staff, and three positions for clerical staff, necessary to enable the State to meet and maintain National Association of Insurance Commissioners accreditation standards. These positions shall not be subject to chapter 76.
