[ §471-9.8] Permit surcharge; fees. (a) There shall be imposed on every courtesy permit and relief permit issued by the board pursuant to sections 471-9.5 and 471-9.6 a $100 surcharge that shall be deposited into the compliance resolution fund established under section 26-9(o) to defray the costs incurred by the department in administering those permits.

(b) Application fees paid pursuant to this chapter shall not be refundable. Pursuant to section 26-9(l), the director of commerce and consumer affairs shall establish examination, reexamination, license, renewal, restoration, enforcement, and other fees relating to the administration of this chapter by rule.
