1. A board shall enforce the provisions of this chapter and the board’s enabling statute and for that purpose may request the department to make necessary investigations. Every licensee and member of a board shall furnish the board or the department such evidence as the member or licensee may have relative to any alleged violation which is being investigated.
2. The department may administratively close a complaint that does not allege a violation of this chapter, the board’s enabling statute, or a rule of the board.
