Iowa Code § 217.21: Annual report.

The department shall annually report no later than October 1 on the period ending with the June 30 preceding, pursuant to section 217.22, itemized departmental expenditures concerning each program under the department’s administration and adequate and complete statistical reports for the state as a whole concerning all payments made under the department’s administration.
