Iowa Code § 280.2: Definitions.

As used in this chapter, unless the context otherwise requires:
1. “Nonpublic school” means any school, other than a public school, which is accredited pursuant to section 256.11.
2. “Public school” means any school directly supported in whole or in part by taxation.
