Iowa Code § 307.1: Definitions.

When used in this chapter, unless the context otherwise requires:

1. “Director” means the director of transportation or the director’s designee.

2. “Department” means the state department of transportation.

3. “Commission” means the state transportation commission established in section 307A.1A.
