Iowa Code § 479.22: Records.

The commission shall keep a record of all permits granted and issued by the commission, showing when and to whom the permits were issued and the location and route of the pipeline or lines or gas storage area covered. When any transfer of a permit has been made as provided in this chapter, the commission shall also note upon its record the date of the transfer and the name and address of the transferee.
