Iowa Code § 481A.31: Game brought into state.

It shall be lawful for any person, firm, or corporation to possess any fish or game lawfully taken outside the state and lawfully brought into the state, but the burden of proof shall be upon the person in possession of the fish or game to show that the fish or game was lawfully killed and lawfully brought into the state.
